What is your Favorite Thing about Fall. My Favorite Thing about Fall is the Weather Changing, The Leaves turn to Beautiful Colors , My Family and I spending more Quality Time Together, Thanksgiving. I love to Pick Apples and Pumpkins and Make Apple Pie and Apple Crisp and Pumpkin Pie.

More Recipes my Family and I enjoy. I came across this recipe from All HomemadeCookies.com Cake Mix Cookies Recipe #2 Yields about 4 dozen cookies 1 box cake mix(any variety) 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips(can substitue caramel or peanut butter chips or do a combination) 1/2-1 cup oatmeal(I always put in as much as I can!) 1/2 cup oil 2 eggs slightly beaten 1/2 cup raisins(optional) 1 tsp. vanilla(optional) nuts(optional) Steps Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, blending well. If the mixture is too stiff, add a little water. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute before removing from the cookie sheets. For altitudes above 3500 feet, add 1/4 cup flour to dry cake mix. Varriation: Use White Cake Mix and add a pudding mix. If you use pudding, you will need to add some water(about 1/4 cup). Also, the pudding tends to make the cookies sweeter.

Sharing a Recipe That my Family and I enjoy. This Recipe Comes from Like Merchant Ships on Blogspot. I got this recipe from Meredith on Like Merchant Ships. The Recipe is Called Kitchen Scrap Cookies. The Recipe comes from the Like Merchant Ships Meredith Saturday February 25th,2006 I will post the ingredients. 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup cold cooked oatmeal 1-1/4 cup flour(using 1 cup WW pastry flour makes a crisper cookies) 1/2tsp of salt 1/2tsp bkg. soda 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla At least 1 cup leftovers such as chopped apples, raisins, coconut, etc. Ut to 1 additional cup uncooked oats, rolled or steel cut. Steps. Cream butter, sugar, egg, vanilla. Sift Flour,salt,soda, and cinnamon. Add to wet mix. Gently combine batter with cooked oatmeal and add-inn's. The finished batter should have a semi-stiff consistency, or stay rounded as you drop the teaspoons on the sheet. Bake at 350F 12-15 minutes on lightly greased cookie sheet until edges are browned. Enjoy them now--they won't be any leftovers from these.

I have found out that Honey and Cinnamon mixed together makes my skin feel smoother. MyDear Sweet Loving Husband gave me a tip on Lemons. When you have a headache ( helps a little even with a sinus headache) suck on a cut up slice of lemon The lemon helps to take the headache away.

What Style of Decorating Do you all like as well as your family like... What Style of Decorating Do you all like as well as your family like? I know that My Family and I like the HomeMade/County Lived In Comfortable to our Family look and Inviting. We live in a Small Home and We live on a Very Tight Income at this time. We still have our Home to Pay Off fully off and then we will be Totally Debt Free. So I am trying to work around our Budget to decorate with mostly things we already have or have the time and a little bit of Spending Money to buy the things we need as well as sometimes the things we want. We also love to Collect Antiques. We were given a Nice Rug to put in our Living Room that My Sister had bought but she could no longer use it so she gave it to us. Now our Living Room is starting to look more Like my Family and I want it to. I also on occassion will go to Dollar General one of My Favorite Stores and Buy Silk Flowers to use around our Home to Give it more of the Look My Family and I enjoy. Does anyone want to share what there Decorating Style as well as there Family's style of Decorating maybe or even any tips, advice, or Suggestions?

Viewing what God has Called me to Do as a Blessing and Not a Burden. I am a Stay at Home Wife first. I am also a Stay at Home Momma. I am also a Stay at Home Homemaker and HomeschoolTeacher. I often times find myself very discouraged and not wanting to be home taking care of our home , and my Family. The reason I often times find myself so discouraged and not wanting to take care of my Family and Home is because I leave God out of the Picture until the End of the Day. God should be the first in my Life not the Last and he should not get the Leftovers he should get the First Fruits of all I do. Then I can serve my Beloved Darling Husband and DarlingDaughter and other Family Members with True Happiness and Cheer and Sweet Attitude and a Sweet Manner. My Husband,Daughter and the Rest of My Family Deserves to have Me in a Good Happy Mood so they in Return will be in a Good Happy Mood. I have found that when I don't Give God the First Fruits of all I do Everyone Suffers Especially Me. I will choose to be Up Early to Give God all my First Fruits from Now on. I will Choose Peace, Joy, Cheery Attitude , Actions and Manners, I will choose True Happiness . I will choose Contentment and Most of all I will be in God's Will for my life as well as the Life of my Family.

What Books Do You All Read that Encourages You in your Homemaking Task? I have some that I read but I don't have a Favorite Homemaking Book that Encourages me in my Homemaking Task. I was wondering does anyone else have any Suggestions on Other Good Homemaking/Homemaking Task Books to Read?

BibleVerse's that help me out and encourage me.. All the Bible Verses that Help me out and encourage me are going to be out of the King James Version. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me,My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. These verses really minister to me at this time in my life. Another Bible Verses that Minister to Me as well as my DearHusband and Child is out of the Book of Galatians Chapter 6 verses 9 and 10. Galatians 6:9-10 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore oportunity,let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Well that is all of them at this time. I will ask God to lay more verses that minister to my Family and I on my heart and list them later on in another post. Cleaning Schedule/Chart Continued Questions? How long did it Take you all to Stick to the Cleaning Schedule/Chart that works for you and for your family? Also when you all are cleaning do you all have your Children and or Dear Husband's to help you all out or do you do all the Cleaning by yourselves? Also do you all turn on Music to encourage you all in your Cleaning or Do you all Clean your Homes in Quiet? I was just wondering because sometimes when I clean our Home I clean in Peace and Quiet and then Sometimes I will listen to a Preaching Tape or Some Music.

I am a First Generation Housewife/Homemaker. That is why My Blog has all the questions on homemaking so I can learn and what I already have gleamed I want to share with you all. My questiong is : Do You All Make a Cleaning Schedule/Chart and do you all stick to it? I was just wondering if you all made a Cleaning Schedule/Chart because I have a somewhat Cleaning Schedule/Chart Made but I can't seem to ever Stick to the Cleaning/Chart Scheduled and I can't seem to ever get our Home Organized and Clean. I feel like that the Chart/Cleaning Schedule is so overwhelming but however it is not. I just can't seem get my little act together to Organize our Home.

I will prepare breakfast for my family and sit with them while they eat. 3. I will work Dilligently to send every member of my family off in a good mood. 4. I will consult my husband everyday to see if there is anything special he wants me to do for him. 5. I will keep a neat and orderly home. 6. I will respond positively. 7. I will meet my husband's needs. *8. I will put my husband before my children. 9. I will personaly meet and greet each family member as he or she returns home. *10. I will be predictably happy. 11. I will prepare special,good food for my family. *12. I will always make dinner-time a special time. *13. I will grow daily in the areas of the Lord, marriage, family, and homemaking.* The ones with the Stars* by them are the Most Important One's to me for me to work on . This is a Covenant that Helps me to realize I am not in this Job alone and I just don't do this job for my Dear Sweet Husband or my Children I do it for God first and Formost, then for Dear Sweet Husband and then for My Children. JOY(Jesus Others then You) that is what JOY means in my Life.

My Favorite Bible Verses from the Book of Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 11 and 12 KJV(KingJamesVersion) verse 11 says The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her,so that he shall have no need of spoil. This verse to me means that The Proverbs 31 Wife & Mother is fullfilling the Role and Ministry God has called her to do. To me this verse also means that her husband can trust her to do the best things and the right things for her Family because he knows that she is going to do what is best and what God has lead her to do as well as be Submissive to her own husband. Verse 12 says She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. This verse to me means she seeks to Honor Him and Respect him . She seeks to be the Best Wife she can be, She seeks to be Submissive to Her Own Husband. She seeks to Help Him in all areas of the Home she is a Good Home Manager. She is thrifty,She shops for good things and not bad things that would harm her and her family.
